Jittawan is a local woman entrepreneur living in a Khmer community in Surin province and she basically cultivates jasmine rice and makes wood charcoal for selling. She is a very active member of the Village Bank that she has become a member for more than 15 years. She applied for the Kiva loan and brought the loan to invest in the wood charcoal business. Importantly, the wood charcoal produced from her charcoal kiln is very high quality and highly demanded by customers inside and outside the community. At current, the design of her charcoal kiln is attracted to many people and organizations to learn.
