February 2018, Claire Kelly, Regional Director, Asia monitored the Village Banks (VB), funded by the WPF, in Surin and Buriram provinces as well as provided technical assistance for the SED.
In the pictures, it was a “Huay San Suk” Village Bank in Buriram province that has been established more than 3 years. Some members of the VB raises silkworm that produces silk thread and then they make silk products such as skirt, shawl, shirt, etc., for selling.
